Hiking trails reopen in Yukon’s Kluane National Park and Reserve after wolf killed

Parks Canada has reopened several popular hiking trails in the Kluane National Park and Reserve that were closed earlier this month following a wolf attack.

Last weekend, agency staff used a high-powered rifle to kill a young female wolf believed to be involved in the incident. Parks Canada and the Yukon government are currently conducting a necropsy on the animal and testing for rabies.
