Wolves at Our Door
Wolves and humans have a complicated relationship, and where they live together conflict often follows. This program addresses the nature of these conflicts and the role wildlands play in this relationship. By discussing the myths and misinformation that have contributed to fear and misunderstanding of wolves, we will explore ways we can work toward a goal of co-existence.

Arctic Wolves
How do wolves in the high arctic not only survive but thrive? Find out what characteristics arctic wolves have that help them live in such a harsh environment and learn how they differ from wolves in other areas of North America. Using International Wolf Center wolf ambassadors, we will observe and compare wolf characteristics and learn what makes arctic wolves so unique.

Wolf Pup 101
Journey with the International Wolf Center pups during their first year of life via video and audio recordings. Students will participate in fun, interactive discussions regarding the stages of wolf development and see footage of pups practicing their instinctive behaviors. Will they see any wolf pup behaviors they recognize?

Wolf 101
My, what big ears you have! Join us as we look at the physical and social adaptations wolves use to survive in their environment. Students will be given an opportunity to observe our ambassador wolves utilizing these amazing tools.

Wolf Research
Discover how wolf researchers have learned to track wolves! Join the International Wolf Center staff as we look at the history and methods behind tracking wolves. We will explore the reasons why wolves are tracked, what radio telemetry is and what information is gathered once they are found. What do you think we can learn from them?

Wolf Ecology
Explore the world of the wolf while learning how energy and nutrients flow through an ecosystem. Using the wolf as a fascinating case study, students examine the important roles that predators, prey and scavengers play in three ecosystems where wolves live.
