Rowan and his littermate, Cedar, were born on April 22, 2025. Rowan is the calmer of the two, displaying a more laissez-faire attitude toward ritualized dominance occurring in the pack. He will frequently be found wrestling and jaw sparring with Cedar, but is overall less likely to get involved in non-social interactions. Similar to Caz, Rowan displays an appreciation for food and will frequently be seen guarding food resources. He has a good relationship with all pack members, including Blackstone, the pack’s lowest ranking pack member. His current status as a subordinate juvenile wolf may change as he matures.
Rowan is the only other black-phase gray wolf currently in the Exhibit Pack. Compared to Cedar, his muzzle is longer and more broad. He also has more gray fur around is face. Rowan has amber, almond-shaped eyes. Both pups are around 100 pounds each.
