Our interpretive center in Ely, MN, has moved to Winter Hours: Fri & Sat: 10am-5pm, Sun: 10am-2pm. Please note: We will be closed Oct. 23-25 for the International Wolf Symposium and will re-open to the public on Oct. 30.
For more than a decade, the Voyageurs Wolf Project has been uncovering the wild secrets of northern Minnesota, tracking wolves and learning surprising things about cougars and deer along the way. A recently captured video showing a cougar feeding on a deer has researchers eager to dig deeper into Minnesota’s cougar population. Project lead Tom Gable joined us via Zoom to share what they’ve discovered.
