These cameras provide a view of our Exhibit Pack, which lives at the International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota. The Exhibit Pack resides in a 1.25-acre area that includes two dens, a filtered pond, and a forested area where they can roam freely. The Exhibit Pack consists of four ambassador gray wolves. Grayson, a male arctic wolf, was born in 2016, Rieka is a female born in 2021, and Caz and Blackstone are littermates born in 2022. You can read the Exhibit Pack Logs if you want to learn more about the Exhibit Pack. You can also visit our Meet Our Wolves page to learn more about each wolf and some tips on how to identify them by name. Managing ambassador wolves has been part of our mission at the International Wolf Center since 1989.
The live cams allow a worldwide audience to view the ongoing dynamics of our ambassador wolves. Our dedication to the wolves extends to the many onsite and online viewers who form a connection and gain an educational perspective about the behavior of these social carnivores. The health and safety of our wolves are critical to our USDA-licensed wolf management plan. Wolf care team members care for our ambassador wolves 365 days a year. With our socialized wolves, you may witness qualified wolf care team members providing daily physical checks and veterinary care to the wolves, as well as conducting daily maintenance of the enclosure. Please note that during these times, the audio for the wolf cams may be off. However, it will resume once the wolf care team completes their duties. Even under human care, wolves can be elusive. So, if you don’t spot them right away, look closely at the background under the trees. Your patience will be rewarded. The best viewing hours are 6 to 9 a.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. CT.
