Wolf 101
In this program, we cover the basics of gray wolf biology and behavior. Join us as we address a variety of topics including where wolves live, what they eat, and how they have adapted to different environments. This interactive program is a great introduction to the world of gray wolves!

Wolf Pup 101
Ever wondered what it’s like to grow up as a wolf? Step into the shoes of our wolf care staff and follow our ambassador wolves through their first year of life. You will learn all about the stages of pup development and what it takes to raise wolves here at the International Wolf Center!

Wolf Reintroduction – NEW!
Wolf reintroductions have been part of conservation efforts for decades, from Yellowstone to North Carolina and beyond. Join us for this interactive presentation to learn about these reintroductions and the methods scientists use for them, as well as dispel some misconceptions and myths along the way!

Wolves and Wetlands
Discover how wolves impact the wildlands they inhabit through their predator-prey relationship with the beaver, an ecosystem engineer. Join this interactive program to learn some fundamentals about the biology, behavior, and ecological roles of wolves and beavers in wetland ecosystems!

Wolves at Our Door
Wolves and humans have a complicated relationship, and where they live together conflict often follows. This program addresses the nature of these conflicts and the role wildlands play in this relationship. By discussing the myths and misinformation that have contributed to fear and misunderstanding of wolves, we will explore ways we can work toward a goal of co-existence.

Wolf Research
Discover how wolf researchers have learned to track wolves! Join the International Wolf Center staff as we look at the history and methods behind tracking wolves. We will explore the reasons why wolves are tracked, what radio telemetry is and what information is gathered once they are found. What do you think we can learn from them?
