Two more wolves to be killed in Wallowa County

From the Baker City Herald:

ENTERPRISE — Two more Harl Butte Pack wolves are targeted to be killed following the discovery of another dead calf in the mountains east of Joseph.

The calf was found Wednesday morning in a 640-acre privately owned pasture on Marr Flat, part of the Marr Flat Cattle Co.’s summer grazing land. Todd Nash, the cattle company’s manager, said the mostly consumed calf was found in a corral by Greg Jennings, Wallowa County’s range rider charged with tracking wolves near livestock, and Lynn Makin, a volunteer camped out and monitoring wolves for Marr Flat.
