Home-raised wild wolves graduate to sheep guarding duties in Iraq

Shepherds from the town of Takiya, Sulaimani province, have domesticated six wolves, which they reportedly found in the wild five months ago in the arid mountains near the village of Bawapati Saru. Footage shows two wolves on a leash in the backyard of the owner’s house, being fed dog food and accompanying the shepherds to guard their sheep when they are taken for grazing in the mountains.
