Harl Butte Pack back at it again
From mycolumbiabasin.com:
SALEM, Oregon – The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife says the Harl Butte wolf pack in Wallowa County has killed one calf and injured another on private land in the Marr Flat area. One act was investigated on Friday and the other on Monday.
On Sept 29, a volunteer range rider found a 425-pound calf dead in a large open pasture. It was estimated the calf was killed earlier that morning. The carcass was about 40 percent consumed, with evidence of feeding on both hind legs and the right flank and rib cage.
