El Paso County in Colorado joins Stop the Wolf Coalition against Initiative 107
From coloradopolitics.com:
El Paso County commissioners voted unanimously Wednesday to join a list of dozens of counties and oppose a ballot measure to reintroduce the gray wolf to Colorado.
Initiative 107 will be on the ballot in November, and if it passes, the state will begin re-introducing the wolves, and taxpayers will cover the livestock losses. The wolves were hunted out of normalcy in the state decades ago, but have shown signs of reemergence.
