Dedicated non-lethal efforts fail to limit Meacham Pack depredations on private land

SALEM — The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife confirmed Thursday four livestock depredations by wolves from the Meacham Pack this month, all to the same livestock producer in the same privately-owned pasture, according to a press release from ODFW.
The press release said the depredations were despite “dedicated and substantial proactive nonlethal efforts” to stop wolf-livestock conflict.
