Community Day at International Wolf Center planned for northern Minnesota communities
Ely-area residents will be treated to half-price admission to the International Wolf Center on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, during the annual Community Day at the center. Anyone with a ZIP code that begins with the digits 557 will be able to take advantage of the special offer.
“The support of the people in Ely and the surrounding area is a big part of our success,” said Rob Schultz, the executive director of the International Wolf Center. “Events like this show how much we appreciate that support.”
Proof of residence will be required.
The center is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Aug. 12.
The reduced fee for admission on Aug. 12 is $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for seniors 60 and up and $3.50 for children ages 4-12.
Free punch and cookies will be available to visitors from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
